What I believe:
What I believe:
- I believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is our handbook for living.
- I believe in one God who exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
- I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. That He is the “God-man”: 100% God, and 100% man. That He came to the earth to be our Savior—to save us from sin and the death penalty attached to it. It took a man to save us, since a man caused the fall (Adam); however, it had to be a sinless man. Jesus Christ being God, is sinless—100% pure, therefore; He is the only One who qualified to be the Savior of the world. Therefore, I believe in salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
- I believe that Jesus Christ’s virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous demonstration, vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His present priestly ministry.
- I believe that to receive salvation from one’s sins: we must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender our life to Him by asking Him in prayer to forgive us of our sins and to come into our hearts and life by the regenerating power of His Spirit.
- I believe in further sanctification of the Holy Spirit in the life and heart of the believer. That meaning: He works in our hearts and gives us power to overcome sin and live a victorious Christian life; set apart for Him.
- I believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, as on the day of Pentecost, and the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries, and in the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
- I believe in the five-fold ministry of the Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, and Teacher for the equipping and activation of His body on earth resulting in the furthering of His Kingdom.
- I believe that healing is obtained on the bases of the Atonement of Christ Jesus.
- I believe in the doctrine of the “laying on of hands” where appropriate for the purpose of impartation of God’s grace for: ordination, healing, blessing, anointing, and the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit.
- I believe in water baptism by immersion should be practiced by all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ as a sign of their belief in His death, burial and resurrection.
- I believe in the celebration of communion to not only remember Him, but to celebrate His powerful Presence and release of His grace amongst us.
- I believe the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ should live a pure life free from adultery and fornication. I further believe that marriage is a holy union between one man and one woman.
- I believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and in His Kingdom that shall never end.
- I believe in the resurrection of the dead—both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of everlasting life, and those who are lost, unto the resurrection of everlasting darkness and judgment.
